Three
girls are about to have the best day of their lives, but will something
stop them from getting to their destination-Los Angeles, California? |

I
am so excited! I, Kelsey Regan am going to a concert of my favorite group,
Aqua Color. The best part
is that I’m getting back stage passes with my two best friends,
Bridget and Michelle. I am
going to meet Aqua Color in person too! I
am their #1 fan! I know everything about them. Jesse, the drummer, still sleeps with a teddy bear. Alexandra,
the lead guitarist, broke her leg when she was ten years old. Brian
the keyboard player got into college when he was 17 years old. I
am crazy about Aqua Color, and I am finally going to meet them! I
have all of their CD’s including their special edition, signed by all
of them. Michelle Tucker
and Bridget Robinson are also psyched about the concert. Bridget
collects anything that has to do with Aqua Color and Michelle is in the
Aqua Color fan club. It is
2:00 AM and we have to leave at 3:00 AM. We have to leave so early
because the concert is in Sacramento, California and we live in Salt
Lake City, Utah. It takes
just about ten hours to get there. Bridget’s
parents, Sam and Kelly are driving us to the concert.

It
is 10:00 AM and we finally arrive in California. Bridget
and Michelle are sleeping, but I can’t even think about sleeping. I am
so nervous. What am I going to ay to Aqua Color? ‘Umm, I like your music. I
am your biggest fan.’ No, they probably get that a lot. I’ll
just be myself. I’ll
treat them like regular people. All
of the sudden, I hear this really loud noise. ‘BANG!
Chuff, chuff, chuff. ‘ The noise was so loud, that it woke Bridget and
even Michelle who is a heavy sleeper. Sam
got out of the car and looked at the engine. Then
he looked at the tires. Then
he looked at the engine again. Kelly
said, “Do we have a flat tire?” Sam shook his head. “One
thing about my dad, is he isn’t handy,” Bridget told us. Sam got
back in the car and he turned the key. Nothing.
Sam turned to us and said, “I don’t know what happened.” We all
looked at him in horror. “Sorry
girls,” he said, “We might be a little late for the concert.” No! Bridget
and Michelle said, “ Aww man!” Sam got out of the car and said, “I
am going to go look for a call box.” Then he walked away. I looked out the window. I saw sand like we were in a desert
or something. Too bad we weren’t stuck in the middle of civilization. I
got out of the car and I looked around. The
sun was beating down at me, and everything was hot. All
of a sudden, I saw something in the distance. A
car, no more like a motor home was coming this way. It came closer and closer. I waved my hands at them and they
slowed down. It turned out
to be a bus, a tour bus. The
door opened and I looked inside. A man was driving the bus and he said
to me, “Need a ride?” so Bridget, Michelle, Kelly, and I got on the
bus. When Sam came back he said we can go and he’ll wait for the
tow truck. When we got in
the bus, we recognized the people in the bus. Jesse, Brian, Alexandra, Shawn, and Tamara! Aqua
Color’s tour bus! Michelle,
Bridget, and even Kelly, were squealing. “You’re
Aqua Color!” Bridget said. “No
way!” Jesse laughed. “We are?” I stood there speechless. “We
were on our way to your concert, when our car broke down and my husband
has no idea what happened to it,” Kelly told them, “We have
backstage passes.” The bus started moving, and we waved good-bye to
Sam. Sam waved back to us.

The
concert was great. Aqua Color sang all of my favorite songs and they
were really nice. Aqua Color gave us T-shirts and they each signed the shirts.
They even got one for Sam. I
had a great time and one day, I hope to see them again.
