2. Religious and Philosophical Discussions:

1. Purpose and Goals:

a. The JesusLovesMe Fellowship is a Christian based chat ministry whose focus is to minister to the body of Christ and reach out to those that have not personally received Christ as Lord and Savior. A Statement of Faith for this ministry can be found here. If you are a born-again Christian, please read the chat room rules found here.

b. It is our utmost desire to share the Love of Jesus and the Gospel Message with you in order that some would give serious consideration to making Him their personal Lord and Savior.

c. The JesusLovesMe Fellowship welcomes all new visitors and we hope your stay is enjoyable and edifying. We desire that God would use this ministry to touch the hearts of our guests in order to draw them to the Savior, Jesus Christ. We hope that your experience here will make you feel a desire to come back again.

2. Religious and Philosophical Discussions:

a. When entering the room we ask that you turn off all auto popups and advertisements. Upon entering, please do not immediately jump into a conversation with others. Before jumping into a conversation, we ask that you first take a brief moment to observe the room to see if there is already a discussion, Bible Study or prayer in progress. If there is, please wait until an opportune time before greeting everybody or starting your own conversation so as not to interrupt the current dialogue within the room.

b. As students of the Bible, the Ministry team is happy to answer questions about Christian beliefs, ethics, and practices. However, the JesusLovesMe chat room is not a platform for unsolicited, open debate. Therefore, open room discussions which become argumentative or confrontational will not be permitted.

c. If you would like to know more about Christianity or the gospel message of Jesus Christ, we are happy to share it with you. There are chat rooms which are open to all the different philosophies and religious view points. The JesusLovesMe Fellowship is not. Therefore, you will not be given a platform to express your convictions if they differ from Biblical Christianity.

d. Some say, "you are not being fair, this is a free world and you are depriving me of the freedom to express my beliefs..." Your desire to speak as you wish in our chat room infringes on our freedom to perform a ministry in the manner that we choose, thus freedom of religion allows anyone to come and go as they please. Please understand however, that if a person's behavior is uncooperative, disruptive, or rude, this could jeopardize your freedom to come to the JesusLovesMe Fellowship.

e. For those that insist on expressing their own personal, philosophic views about God, man, life, what man's origin is and where man's destiny is (and are contrary to Biblical teachings), we will insist that you either go to one of the other chat rooms that allow it, or create your own chat room. When you come to our chat room, you have by your own free will given up your right to speak freely. If this seems closed minded to our visitors, you are absolutely right. The JesusLovesMe Fellowship is exclusively partial to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the relationship that His creation can Have with Him in order to gain eternal life. When God has shown you the Truth and you have found it to be True, and that Truth sets you free, why keep looking for it?

f. Some say that we are robbing ourselves of the vast horizon of human potential, or the universal philosophies throughout the world, or the "thinking man's truths." Some say that we have traded our ability to reason for a fable, and have even said, "How do you know what you believe is the ultimate truth if you haven't learned or studied other philosophies or viewpoints?"

It is almost always assumed that every Christian is a Christian because they know nothing else, and were raised to be Christian by parents who were Christian. Thus, we have been called or labeled "brain washed" and "narrow minded." This is so untrue.

The overwhelming majority of Christians throughout the world lived a different life style prior to being Christians. We too sought the truth and tried many different philosophies to fill that empty feeling that exists within all mankind, which compels us to search for truth. The bottom line is that all else is empty, and that the searching has resulted in one unsuccessful attempt after another to fill that emptiness.

The term "born again" expresses that very point. It means that prior to becoming a Christian, an individual was once living his own life for his own purposes doing it "his own way." God makes Himself known personally to the individual because that person finally says, "OK God, I am tired of doing it my way because all I am finding is nothing but continued emptiness." So finally in life, that individual decides to do it "God's Way." God's way is Jesus Christ, "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." There is no other way, and there is no other truth, except Jesus Christ. When that Truth is received, the searching is over, and the individual becomes "born-again." That is what a Christian is, and that is one of the main focuses of the JesusLovesMe Fellowship: to see "searching individuals" become born-again.

g. Please do not ask to become an OP in the JesusLovesMe Fellowship Ministry. We are constantly observing people so that we can determine the best people to put in a leadership role.

3. Unacceptable Chat Rooms:

a. While you are in the JesusLovesMe chat room, even if you are not a Christian, we ask that you not hang out in chat rooms which are either satanic, sexually oriented, cultic, or otherwise immoral. In the JesusLovesMe chat room, people come there who are always looking at the rooms other people are chatting in. As such, your presence in those kinds of rooms gives the impression that we condone the behaviors or beliefs of such rooms. In addition, we will not expose children who chat in the JesusLovesMe chat room to other rooms which are contrary to Biblical Christianity.

b. If you disagree, and prefer to be active in cultic, satanic, or sexually immoral rooms (for whatever reason), do so at times when you are not in the JesusLovesMe chat room.

c. You are welcome to return to the JesusLovesMe chat room when you are not in the unacceptable rooms.

d. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation, but if you are in any of those kinds of rooms when you enter the JesusLovesMe Chat room, you should expect to get a warning from one of the room leaders to leave the unacceptable rooms.
